The AIY Framework — 5 Buckets for Every Use Case
Mental model that organises all AI work
Core

The AIY Framework is a mental model that puts you at the centre. Every single AI task you'll ever do falls into one of 5 buckets. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

A — Automate. Repetitive tasks you do manually today. Emails, summaries, reformatting data. Claude does it in seconds.
I — Intelligence. Research, analysis, competitive insight. Getting smarter faster than you could alone.
Y — You (amplify). Your thinking, your voice, your decisions — just 10× faster. Writing, brainstorming, preparing for meetings.
+ Build. Creating things that didn't exist: landing pages, tools, templates, workflows.
+ Learn. Use AI as a tutor, explainer, and study partner. NotebookLM, Claude — both fit here.
  • Automate: "Summarise this 200-page PDF in 3 bullet points per section."
  • Intelligence: "Who are the top 5 preloved luxury bag sellers on Instagram Indonesia? Analyse their positioning."
  • You: "Here's a draft caption I wrote. Rewrite it in my tone — warm, premium, like a trusted friend."
  • Build: "Create a landing page for Maison Annisa with a hero section and product grid."
  • Learn: "Explain how Instagram's algorithm ranks Reels in 2025, like I'm a small business owner."

Classify each of these into A / I / Y / Build / Learn:

  • Writing 10 Instagram caption variations from one idea → Y
  • Researching what Chanel resale prices are doing this quarter → I
  • Building an order-tracking spreadsheet template → Build
  • Auto-replying to common DM questions → Automate
  • Understanding how consignment pricing works → Learn
02
Prompt Engineering with Claude — The Right Way
How to write prompts that actually work, every time
Core

Most people treat Claude like a Google search. Bad prompts = bad output. Great prompts unlock a completely different level of output. The formula is simple: Role → Context → Task → Format → Constraints.

Role: Tell Claude who to be. "Act as a luxury brand strategist…"
Context: Give the situation. "I run a preloved designer bag business called Maison Annisa targeting mothers aged 28–42."
Task: Be specific. "Write 5 Instagram captions for a Chanel Classic Flap listing."
Format: Tell Claude how to structure the output. "Each caption: 2 lines max, no hashtags, end with a CTA."
Constraints: Rules it must follow. "Never sound like a generic reseller. Tone: warm, aspirational, editorial."

❌ Weak prompt:

"Write a caption for my bag"

✅ Strong prompt:

→ Claude PromptAct as a luxury editorial copywriter for a preloved designer bag brand. Context: Maison Annisa — warm-premium brand selling curated designer bags to mothers who love luxury but shop smart. Task: Write 3 Instagram captions for a Chanel Classic Flap in beige/gold hardware, priced at 28jt. Format: - Caption 1: Emotional / storytelling (3 sentences) - Caption 2: Product-focused, aspirational (2 sentences) - Caption 3: Urgency + scarcity (2 sentences) Rules: No generic reseller language. No "DM for price." Warm, editorial tone.
→ Research TemplateAct as a [role]. Context: [your situation in 2 sentences]. Research [topic] and give me: 1. [output 1] 2. [output 2] 3. [output 3] Format: bullet points. Max 300 words total. Be specific, not generic.
→ Email Reply TemplateRead this email: [paste email] Write a reply that: - Matches my tone: [describe: e.g. warm, direct, no fluff] - Achieves: [your goal] - Is max [X] sentences - Does NOT [constraint]
